Rocky Ford Creek was another great trip this year. It has been about a 5 year annual trip with usually more drinking than fishing but a great way to break the winter ice and get the rods moving for the spring. We caught a few fish. These rainbows are tough. Chris had the right bug. It's some white contraption that he came up with that the trout just suck up off the bottom. Anyway, the picture here exemplifies about how serious we are about the fishing. I love this trip.

That fly that Chris tied, I called the ghost fly. It had a great deal of white feather in its construction. Chris tied me a beauty which I eagerly addressed the creek with. Ten minutes later I got caught up in a very large rock that refused to yield the ghost fly. Consequently that special fly left my possession and became a part of the streamscape.
